  20. We will pursue the retail market as well as mail order through places
  21. like PC Connection.  To do so we have to have nice packaging and the
  22. Executor 2 packaging (CD-ROM in jewel box with 32-page mini manual) is
  23. a good start.  In general distributors also want to know what your ad
  24. budget is before they pick up your product.  Exceptions can be made
  25. for exceptional software and we're hoping that once E2 has been
  26. launched that we can indeed land some important deals.

  37. We will allow people to download demos of Executor 2, but it won't be
  38. fully functional.  At Egghead the demos that they have are complete
  39. versions of the software, aren't they?  If we can get Egghead to sell
  40. Executor then our agreement would probably require us to provide them
  41. with a certain number of complete copies that they can demo in their
  42. (approximately 200?) stores.

  48. Right.  Once Executor 2 is a done deal and the Executor 2 demo is
  49. finalized then we'll make a lot of effort to get it onto other
  50. people's CD-ROMs and really make it easy for people to get.

  58. Sure.  We've known this for a long time, that's the whole point of
  59. cleaning up Executor now and getting Executor 2 out the door.  We have
  60. always meant Executor to be a commercial product sold through stores,
  61. but previous incarnations of Executor had just too many limitations to
  62. make stores want to sell them.  It still may be a little tricky
  63. getting stores to sell Executor 2, but I think we have a good shot at
  64. it.

  80. You don't mention how much memory your 486 has.  If it only has 8 MB,
  81. then using an 8 MB Applzone will require a lot of paging (very slow).
