  18. If so, it's useless without a cartridge (containing 64k MAC Roms).

  20. There are various "hacked" versions about, but I wouldn't trust them.

  22. For what it is, it's pretty good. An Atari-ST with one of these 
  23. cartridges is 100% Mac-Plus compatible and can run lots of stuff.

  25. I bought EPSTART for mine and I can print to an EPSON Dot matrix printer 
  26. from the MAC Mode.

  28. However, it doesn't run above system 6.0.5 (I think..) and doesn't write 
  29. disks in standard 800k format unless you have the special adapter. (Which 
  30. I do..) The Transporter One (as it is called) attaches to the MIDI port 
  31. and FDD port. But it reads and writes 800k floppies VERY SLOWLY.

  33. If you can get one, a Spectre-128 (which uses 128k ROMS) is much better 
  34. and faster. I think Spectre supports System 7, but I'm not sure.
