- If so, it's useless without a cartridge (containing 64k MAC Roms).

- There are various "hacked" versions about, but I wouldn't trust them.

- For what it is, it's pretty good. An Atari-ST with one of these
- cartridges is 100% Mac-Plus compatible and can run lots of stuff.

- I bought EPSTART for mine and I can print to an EPSON Dot matrix printer
- from the MAC Mode.

- However, it doesn't run above system 6.0.5 (I think..) and doesn't write
- disks in standard 800k format unless you have the special adapter. (Which
- I do..) The Transporter One (as it is called) attaches to the MIDI port
- and FDD port. But it reads and writes 800k floppies VERY SLOWLY.

- If you can get one, a Spectre-128 (which uses 128k ROMS) is much better
- and faster. I think Spectre supports System 7, but I'm not sure.
