  3. We finally decided to buy a Zip drive ourselves since remote debugging
  4. didn't fix the problems that people were having with Zip and SyQuest
  5. drives.  We think we have the problem fixed.

  7. If you've already downloaded the beta0 DEMO version, you can get a
  8. newer executor.exe (still a DEMO version) from the BleedingEdge
  9. directory.  Now that DEMO versions have functionality actually cut out
  10. of them, you won't be able to write to your Zip or SyQuest drives
  11. using the BleedingEdge version, but you'll be able to test reading for
  12. us if you'd like.

  15. up on news and mail this weekend.

  23. NOTE:  The software in here is only for the bravest of Executor users.

  25. scsifix.zip contains a new executor.exe (DEMO version) that should
  26. allow Zip and SyQuest drives to be read.  NOTE: because it's a DEMO
  27. version, you won't be able to write to Zip or SyQuest drives using the
  28. copy of executor.exe contained in scsifix.zip, but if we've made
  29. reading work, we've very likely made writing work, too.

  31. Eject will also physically eject the medium if the SCSI target
  32. understands the EJECT message.
