  1. I sent this message once before,but from a different account, so here
  2. it is again. I have been experimenting with html and cgi-bin and have
  3. taken a freeware bulletin board script and gotten it to where I can
  4. modify it pretty well as I like.

  6. I know that this newsgroup sees a lot of traffic, and that thre is a
  7. seperate place for official announcements from ARDI. I say we relegate
  8. this newsgroup to tech support for problems, and have a place where
  9. users can go to leave messages for other users and potential users
  10. about what software does and does not work under executor. A simple
  11. threaded BBS system on the web would work perfectly. The main message
  12. could contain the name of the software in question, and followup posts
  13. could discuss problems with that individual program. I could create
  14. this BBS and would maintain it free of charge on my ISP's server if
  15. this would be desirable. I know that before my wife purchased E/D for
  16. some school work I was considering purchasing it anyway, but was
  17. worried that I would not be able to get the software I wanted to run
  18. going under executor. I would have greatly appreciated aplace where I
  19. could go and just borowse a list of software titles and see their
  20. status. I know that the official release also includes a file that
  21. discusses the compatibility status of several programs, but those are
  22. only the programs that  Ardi has tested. Please let me know what you
  23. think
