  4. hope this gets to the mailing list, I don't quite remember how to post
  5. to the mailing list....

  7. I just bought my copy of E/D 1.99 yesterday (Whew! just under the
  8. wire...) and have a couple of questions that weren't answered by the
  9. faq.
  10.  
  11. First: Can I nuke the tmp hfv, or is it used by E/D for something.
  12. (it came empty in my download) and am i better off using multiple volues
  13. than making the system volume HUGE and putting everything in it (aka
  14. a single HD in a mac)
  15.  
  16. Second: Word 5.1 (Runs faster than my performa 476 w/12 megs under E/D)
  17. After copying all the stuff I thought I needed to Executor, the options
  18. are no longer 'installed'. No toolbar, thesaurus, dictionary, etc.
  19. What piece did I miss?   Note:when I turn on system 7 word gives me an
  20. 'unimplemented' something or other and won't start so I've gotta leave
  21. it in 6.04 mode. :(  Is this usual?

  23. Finally: The fonts folder is a system 7 thing isn't it? So if I'm in
  24. 6.04 mode where do the fonts go.  If I'm wrong about the folder, why
  25. can't my apps see em?
