  1. Here is a disk access question. When I load exec 1.99q(latest BleedingEdge)
  2. with a disk in place in a-drive, the disk shows up fine on the hot band. No
  3. problems there. 
  4.   If I eject it and load another, I receive contradictory results sometimes
  5. and maybe it is the sequence of commands I use. Can disk loading be
  6. clarified?
  7. 1) I eject the disk with an alt-left_shift-2 and with the menu EJECT.  Works
  8. fine because EJECT is no longer active.
  9.  
  10. 2) to read a new disk, do I 
  11.    reverse the commands (alt-left_shift-2 and menu READ     or
  12.  
  13.    menu READ and then alt-left_shift-2.
  14.  
  15. I certainly would like a clarification of the disk eject/read process.

  17. I must say, I stopped using Exec at about version 1.99p and since then, the improvement
  18. is just remarkable. (Most of my use has been for NIH-IMAGE with
  19. some rather intensive math calculations on images.)
