  9. That patch is needed if you want to run Executor/svgalib and you have
  10. a non-serial mouse.  It also fixes an error in the kernel itimer code
  11. that would cause Mac games to run at slower-than-necessary speeds.
  12. Even with the patch some games will only run at 5/6 the proper speed,
  13. since the kernel timer is 100 Hz and the closest it can come to
  14. emulating the Mac 60 Hz timer is 50 Hz.  I think changing the kernel
  15. to run at 120 Hz works, but I'm not sure.

  21. Yes, I think svgalib has trouble with some Cirrus cards.  Make sure
  22. you've got the latest svgalib.
