  1. Well, supposedly all that's needed is to remove the 84bytes from the
  2. beginning of the file, rename the extension to HFV, and that should do
  3. it... right?

  5. In response to a query, and just out of my own curiousity, I'll give the
  6. task a crack this weekend.  I figure that an Executor-based utility would
  7. be easier on all of us, even if drag'n drop isn't yet available.  Of
  8. course, my reason for coding this app in MacOS versus DOS (of which an
  9. example has already been posted to the list...) is that I know C on the Mac
  10. better than I know anything else on a PC.

  12. This is all theoretical, I wouldn't want to get anybody's hopes up.  More
  13. likely than not, I'll end up wiping my own hard drive clean by accident.
