- I've just thought of another possible way round this, though I don't know
- if it's any more practical.
-
- A few years ago Apple (and one or two third-party outfits - I think Dayna
- was one of them but I can't remember) produced a SCSI version of the
- Superdrive, intended I believe for machines without the external floppy
- port. Since the drive should also have been able to read 800k disks, it
- seems at least possible that hooking one up to a PC with a SCSI
- controller might do the trick, and should work with Executor without any
- additional software support.
-
- The catch, of course, is that Apple don't seem to make these any more
- (at least I can't find one on any current price lists I have) and I
- don't have one so I can't even test the theory. Does anyone else have
- any ideas for getting hold of one?
