  13. I've just thought of another possible way round this, though I don't know 
  14. if it's any more practical.

  16. A few years ago Apple (and one or two third-party outfits - I think Dayna 
  17. was one of them but I can't remember) produced a SCSI version of the 
  18. Superdrive, intended I believe for machines without the external floppy 
  19. port. Since the drive should also have been able to read 800k disks, it 
  20. seems at least possible that hooking one up to a PC with a SCSI 
  21. controller might do the trick, and should work with Executor without any 
  22. additional software support.

  24. The catch, of course, is that Apple don't seem to make these any more
  25. (at least I can't find one on any current price lists I have) and I
  26. don't have one so I can't even test the theory. Does anyone else have
  27. any ideas for getting hold of one?
