  3. XFree 3.12D includes a new GDI extension that allows direct access to
  4. video memory, hence avoiding the refresh problem in E/L. I know this is
  5. not a priority before E 2 ships, but it would allow a more uniform code at
  6. least for the video access, would it not? Plus faster screen access, I
  7. guess :)
