  1. hi,
  2.  
  3. i picked up executor 1.99q9 from the bleeding site edge yesterday.  i am 
  4. running it through windows95 (only because i am still trying to configure 
  5. my linux -- which i understand is better for running executor).  then, 
  6. after i remembered reading some mail from cliff (i think), i went and 
  7. grabbed realmz 2.5 because i thought i heard that it may work on this 
  8. version.  so i got it.  so, i decided to expand it.  here's the problem:  
  9. it starts expanding realmz just fine for a couple files then i start 
  10. getting this error:
  11.  
  12. "unable to decompress archive because unable to create file"
  13.  
  14. this goes on for a couple for more time (about four in total) and then 
  15. the whole extraction thing quits.  what happened?  and has anyone else 
  16. had this problem?

  18. also, while i am out here spilling my guts, i have a couple more questions...
  19.  
  20. 1) what am i doing wrong that i cannot place icon right on the desktop?
  21.  
  22. 2) can i runexecutor straight from the command line in linux, or do i 
  23. have to do it through x?
