- I ended up solving my own problem and it's so simple I am pretty sorry
- for the number of mails I posted on this subject but anyway here is what
- I did:

- 1) export DefaultFolder="/tmp" for all users (root included).

- 2) start E/L as root and suddenly one more scratch disk appears: "tmp",
- select that one and exit from Photoshop.

- 3) start E/L as a user and enjoy it.. :)

- However, I have no idea if exporting DefaultFolder to /tmp will cause
- problems with other programs but I think it could actually _solve_ some
- installation problems when the installation program tries to decide if
- you can or cannot write to the disk.. Anyone care to comment on that?

- Thanks to ARDI, tonight I am really happy.. :) I have been waiting for
- quite a bit to see Photoshop run on Linux and so far I am pretty
- impressed.. :)
