- I have recently tried MacDraw Pro under q8 and found the same color
- pattern appear that Stephen describes above for Intellidraw
- when I tried to resize the screen larger with the buton in the
- lower right of the window. Also found a second copy of the stuff
- at the left of the window, in the expanded area of the window rather
- than more of the drawing as should be there. On my machine I can't
- reliably start MacDraw II or MacDraw Pro more than once in any
- Executor q8 session. If I try, Executor crashes back to DOS or hangs
- the machine.
-
- I am getting very solid (though not absolutely perfect) performance
- from MacDraw II v1.1 under Executor 1.99p8. No funny restart
- problems and almost all MacDraw II features work as on a real Mac
- so for the moment, I am settled on version p8 of Executor.
-
- I am running Executor directly under DOS and use an 800 x 600 screen.
- I am using the following hardware:
-
- CPU AMD 80486DX-4 (120 MHz)
- BIOS AWARD
- Chip Set Opti
- RAM 16 MEGs
- Video Card S3-805 by Xing
- Executor Info says Vesa 1.2 compliant
- 2 Hard Drives 540 M and 850 M, divided into 4 Logical DOS
- Drives and 2 Linux drives.
- DOS 6.2
-
- I have also tested Executor and found the same results with a somewhat
- less capable system described below just to make sure I am reporting
- generic Executor problems:
-
- CPU 80486-33 DX
- RAM 8 MEGs
- Video Driver Unknown; E -info says Vesa 1.2 compliant
- 1 Hard Drive 340 M in 1 Logical Drive
- DOS 6.2
