  1. Dear Clifford and fellow Executor users,

  3. I have read the posting by Clifford answering Joe Ragosta. I think this
  4. kind of provocative posting by Mr. Ragosta should not cost so much of
  5. Clifford's time. I am sorry some people always try to play down the
  6. technically bright achievements by the people at Ardi. If Mr. Ragosta
  7. wants to run the latest Mac software on his original PowerMac, I don't
  8. think anybody in the world can object to that.
  9. But if _I_ want to run some Mac applications on my Linux box, and I have
  10. registered with Ardi and am aware of Executor's limitations, then again
  11. nobody can object to that.
  12. The main point I want to make is:
  13. I feel Clifford/Ardi have adopted the correct ethical stance as to bug
  14. reporting, compatibility issues and the availability of Beta versions of
  15. Executor. I hope this policy will not change because of some people's
  16. agressive stance towards innovation.
  17. I too have owned every kind of micro, from Z80 wirewrapped
  18. prototypes that I programmed with a hexadecimal keyboard to the
  19. Pentium I am using to write these lines, with many Macs in between. I
  20. feel there is no more interest in discussing "the best micro, the best OS".
  21. Please Clifford, let us get on with Executor. It is a singular achievement,
  22. much above the kind of misplaced criticism displayed my Mr. Ragosta.
