- There is the cost factor, that is a big one, but there is also the big
- issue of software availability, there is a great deal more software
- available for windows or DOS, but not for MAC, than software for mac, not
- available for Windows or DOS.

- Note though that the issue of cost does not only apply to the initial
- cost of the system, but also to the cost of added peripherals, repairs,
- etc... If a component of my PC dies, it's a lot easier and cheaper for
- me to remove it, ship it, continue using my PC without it than on a MAC.
- It's also easier to add video cards, sound cards, etc. etc. etc. Further
- I don't want to be left jumping from a sinking ship in five years.
