  19. There is the cost factor, that is a big one, but there is also the big 
  20. issue of software availability, there is a great deal more software 
  21. available for windows or DOS, but not for MAC, than software for mac, not 
  22. available for Windows or DOS.

  24. Note though that the issue of cost does not only apply to the initial 
  25. cost of the system, but also to the cost of added peripherals, repairs, 
  26. etc...  If a component of my PC dies, it's a lot easier and cheaper for 
  27. me to remove it, ship it, continue using my PC without it than on a MAC.  
  28. It's also easier to add video cards, sound cards, etc. etc. etc.  Further 
  29. I don't want to be left jumping from a sinking ship in five years.
