  27. There has always been a certain fanaticism among Mac Users.  The fact is 
  28. that there ARE many Mac programs that look better and run better than 
  29. anything of real equivalence on the PC platform.  Another fact is that there 
  30. is much more to choose from on the PC platform.  This last is ofter 
  31. overlooked in the interest of preserving the Mystique of the Mac.

  33. How many people do you know on the PC platform that are fully capable of 
  34. making real machine comparisons/evaluations?  How many on the Mac?  I don't 
  35. even really like Windows for the same reason that I use the Mac because I 
  36. HAVE to, not because I WANT to.  I could never understand anyone who would 
  37. WISH to wade through several slow graphics screens and run a silly pointing 
  38. device all over their desk when all it REALLY takes to run a program is to 
  39. type in (no more than) 8 charachters and then press Enter.

  41. The people on this newsgroup ARE NOT going to rush out and buy Macs.  That 
  42. is the specific purpose of Executor.  We are close to NOT HAVING to have an 
  43. overpriced Mac around to handle the few things we do that will not run on 
  44. any other platform.
