  2.     Just my notes working with Executor 1.99q and 1.99q6

  4. For some reason 1.99q6 seems MUCH slower than Executor 1.99q
  5. The sound slowdown is still there.

  7. I play Spaceward Ho! on a 486 DX2/66 running Linux 1.3.68, and
  8. I have to restart Executor about every half hour because it slows
  9. down like molasses.  It takes upwards of 15 seconds for a menu
  10. to appear, and the slowdown happens gradually.  I believe this is
  11. a problem with the Linux sound, because this does not happen under
  12. Windows 95.  (BTW, sound under Win95 is scratchy on my machine)
  13.  
  14. When I check top, executor is taking upwards of 95% of my CPU.
  15.  
  16. This is all under 1.99q because 1.99q6 was too slow to be useable
  17. for me.
