- Greetings,
-
- I'm interested in developing some portable applications on several platforms,
- but currently don't have any Mac hardware.
-
- Is it possible yet to write code for the Mac API under Executor?
-
- Do any C++ compilers run under Executor?
-
- Since Executor is totally independent of Apple code, ARDI must already have
- implemented a Mac API for DOS and Unix. Have you folks at ARDI ever considered
- releasing your Mac API as a tool for developers to port Mac applications
- to DOS/Unix, or for DOS/Unix people to develop code for Macs? What I'd like
- to see is some sort of library (source isn't necessary) that I could link to
- programs written using gcc or djgcc. I personally would find this a useful
- tool for which I'd be prepared to pay at least what you're asking for
- Executor. I realise that I'd eventually have to compile my code using a Mac
- compiler in order to produce a binary, but at least I could do my development
- on a stable operating system (ie. Linux) using my existing hardware.
-
- No doubt these questions have been asked before. Thought it was worth a try,
- though...
