  1. I've lately got back into playing one of my favorite Mac games, Spacward 
  2. Ho!.  However, although I find it works generally quite well under 
  3. Executor (even plays sounds!), there is one somewhat annoying thing that 
  4. the game does: when selecting menus, sometimes it takes a LONG time for 
  5. the menu to appear.  Also, moving the mouse around the playing field, 
  6. selecting planets and moving ships, etc. can get sluggish.  All other 
  7. programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Solarian, etc.) work fine; Spacward is the 
  8. only program that exhibits this weirdness.

  10. Anyone know how to alleviate this, or is it not solvable (and I have to 
  11. live with it)?

  13. FYI, I'm running E/DOS 1.99q5, on a Windows 95 machine booted into a 
  14. straight DOS prompt, with no TSR's or drivers loaded except my Logitech 
  15. busmouse driver, Smartdrive, and UNIVBE.
