  10. resolution, can I change the refresh rate?

  14. You need a utilitiy from your video card manufacturer.
  15. I have a Trident 94XX series card, and use a utility provided by Trident called SMONITOR.EXE .
  16. You could also get a better monitor which supports faster refresh rates at higher screen resolutions.
  17. I would prefer the latter, but I don't have the cash to get a decent one...
