  5. first, a reminder to everyone who gets something worthwhile to work

  15. third, the meat of the matter:

  17. well, i'm perpetually impressed with executor.  we just bought
  18. KaleidaGraph 3.0.5 and it arrived today.  i installed it on our macs
  19. and then did a special installation to copy to my linux box.
  20.  
  21. when you install you get three choices, Generic, FPU, or PowerMac.
  22. for the copy i wanted on zifi i picked the generic option since
  23. executor doesn't fake the mac fpu.
  24.  
  25. after it was installed, i packed it up on the mac w/ compact pro and
  26. then binhexed it.  next, i copied it over using appletalk (linux
  27. kicks!).   on the Linux machine i simply reversed the process, using
  28. compact pro for all steps.

  30. the program prints just perfectly although as with all programs
  31. landscape mode is not available.  so far i have printed both graphs
  32. and the spreadsheet both of which worked as if i had printed on one of
  33. our macs.

  35. all features appear to function normally.  the program actually runs
  36. pretty fast.  i'd guess it's about 3/4 to 1/2 the speed as on our
  37. Quadra 900 which uses the FPU version of kaleidagraph.
