  44. I just remember opening up a couple text files from a DOS disk once,
  45. on a System 7.5 based machine, and they appeared with the extra
  46. character at the beginning of each line.. I didn't really need to get
  47. it fixed, so I didn't play around with it much.. I'm sure there's a way
  48. if it's not automatic already.
