- I just remember opening up a couple text files from a DOS disk once,
- on a System 7.5 based machine, and they appeared with the extra
- character at the beginning of each line.. I didn't really need to get
- it fixed, so I didn't play around with it much.. I'm sure there's a way
- if it's not automatic already.
