  4. I get no conflicts. I use a SB Pro-compatible ESS Audiodrive card 
  5. (nothing fancy, that is) and don't need to use -nosound.

  7. I guess more sophisticated cards might cause E/D to misbehave -- sound 
  8. has been just a recent addition.
