  7. In general, counting on Cliff, or any single ARDI employee, is a bad
  8. idea.  It is not uncommon for me to get two or three weeks behind in
  9. my e-mail or Netnews reading when I am working on getting a new
  10. release out (as I was getting 1.99p8, 1.99p9 then 1.99q out).

  12. As such, the generic addreses are much better, since more people have
  13. a chance of being able to respond to them.  After all, when I am away,
  14. nobody reads my personal e-mail.  For the record, here are the major
  15. generic addresses:

  17.     bugs@ardi.com -- Sending e-mail to this address is preferable to
  18.             sending a bug report to c.e.m.e. or the Executor
  19.             Interest mailing list, although the absolutely best
  20.             way to send a bug report is via http://www.ardi.com

  22.     info@ardi.com -- This will eventually be an automated information
  23.             server.  Right now it's equivalent to
  24.             questions@ardi.com

  26.     questions@ardi.com -- ARDI's tech. support.  Currently we tend to
  27.                 answer all questions, although since we're
  28.                 incredibly overworked, once Executor 2 is
  29.                 in beta, we'll start answering only questions
  30.                 asked by registered users, although we'll
  31.                 try to keep the FAQ current to help everyone
  32.                 out.

  39. Since there's no address specifically for changing addresses, sending
  40. an address change to questions@ardi.com is the best bet.  NOTE: I've
  41. cc'd this to questions, so someone will indeed see it and get your new
  42. information (if nobody has done this already).

  44. As ARDI grows we'll have to compartmentalize.  Right now
  45. tech. support, web-maintenance and sales are both handled by Melissa,
  46. but if you use the e-mail addresses above, the right thing will
  47. automatically happen when we hire more people.
