- Ouch.
-
- This is the first time we used the NEXTSTEP installer procedure in a
- long time. When I built the install package there was a permissions
- problem that forced me to rebuild it. Although I had tested the
- directory from which the install package was built from I must have
- overlooked testing the final packaging.
-
- I do not know whether I'll get a chance to fix this in the next 24
- hours. I was up for a long time rolling 1.99q and I have to get some
- artwork to the printer by 10am tomorrow morning, so I may have to
- sleep for an extended period before I can do anything about this.
- I'll try to get it fixed before we head out of town.
-
- Judging from your description I would assume that the workaround is to
- make a /LocalApps/Executor.app directory and gather all the individual
- files into that wrapper. Ugh.
-
- We're going to be automating the procedure we use to make experimental
- and bleeding edge releases, but not until after we have a few format
- changes that will happen when E2 goes beta.
