  22. This is probably due to a "memory leak".  We introduced a memory leak
  23. in 1.99p7 and have fixed it internally here (in what will either be
  24. 1.99p10 or 1.99q, we're not sure what to name it).  However, I don't
  25. know if the particular leak we fixed is what's causing the trouble in
  26. SimTower.

  36. Currently ~ftp on ftp.ardi.com takes up 131 Meg.  Most of that (105
  37. Meg) is contained in the various OLD subdirectories which are much
  38. less important to mirror than everything else.  Melissa suggested that
  39. we move all the OLD stuff into a separate archive directory at the
  40. root of ftp.ardi.com's ftp area so that smaller mirrors could avoid
  41. mirroring /archive.  I haven't yet agreed to such a change because I
  42. wasn't aware of any potential mirror sites that would be able to take,
  43. say 30 MB, but not 130 MB.
