- This is probably due to a "memory leak". We introduced a memory leak
- in 1.99p7 and have fixed it internally here (in what will either be
- 1.99p10 or 1.99q, we're not sure what to name it). However, I don't
- know if the particular leak we fixed is what's causing the trouble in
- SimTower.

- Currently ~ftp on ftp.ardi.com takes up 131 Meg. Most of that (105
- Meg) is contained in the various OLD subdirectories which are much
- less important to mirror than everything else. Melissa suggested that
- we move all the OLD stuff into a separate archive directory at the
- root of ftp.ardi.com's ftp area so that smaller mirrors could avoid
- mirroring /archive. I haven't yet agreed to such a change because I
- wasn't aware of any potential mirror sites that would be able to take,
- say 30 MB, but not 130 MB.
