- Font substitution is tricky. In theory, Executor should properly know
- how to map the following Fonts into their fully named PostScript
- counterparts:
-
- "Avant Garde", "Bookman", "Chicago", "Courier", "Garamond",
- "Geneva", "Helvetica", "Lubalin Graph", "Monaco",
- "N Helvetica Narrow", "New Century Schlbk", "New York", "Optima",
- "Palatino", "Souvenir", "Symbol", "Times", "Zapf Chancery",
- "Zapf Dingbats",
-
- This assumes that your printer has those fonts installed. However,
- most of our printing testing has been done using a NEXTSTEP printer,
- which means that we may be making mistakes when we name the fonts,
- which could result in substition being performed in your printer. I
- don't see ARDI having the resources to buy an HP4+ anytime soon (we
- desperately need to upgrade our internet connection first), but if you
- know PostScript enough to look at the font names we're generating and
- you see any mistakes, please let us know.

-
- Right now you just don't get any choices. That will change, but
- probably not until after Executor 2 ships.
