  9. We haven't made our first beta CD-ROMs yet.  We hope to do so real
  10. soon now, but the holidays caught up with us as well as a lot of
  11. administrative work that we had to do due to this newsgroup.

  13. 1.99p7 is near completion, after it's been checked for a week or so,
  14. we'll release 1.99q which should be the last non-beta release.

  16. Things keep slipping, but in the meantime we're fixing bugs and even
  17. adding a little new functionality here and there.  We had hoped to
  18. have code freeze in early December, but early January is looking more
  19. likely.

  26. HyperCard should run fairly well under 199p6 (although it has a bunch
  27. of printing problems that we've fixed in 1.99p7).  If you have 1.99p6
  28. and are having trouble, hopefully someone can give you some tips.  The
  29. first time you run it you may need to use Cmd-Shift-5 and turn on
  30. "Flush Cache Often".
