- We haven't made our first beta CD-ROMs yet. We hope to do so real
- soon now, but the holidays caught up with us as well as a lot of
- administrative work that we had to do due to this newsgroup.
-
- 1.99p7 is near completion, after it's been checked for a week or so,
- we'll release 1.99q which should be the last non-beta release.
-
- Things keep slipping, but in the meantime we're fixing bugs and even
- adding a little new functionality here and there. We had hoped to
- have code freeze in early December, but early January is looking more
- likely.

- HyperCard should run fairly well under 199p6 (although it has a bunch
- of printing problems that we've fixed in 1.99p7). If you have 1.99p6
- and are having trouble, hopefully someone can give you some tips. The
- first time you run it you may need to use Cmd-Shift-5 and turn on
- "Flush Cache Often".
