  37. Sorry, not for me. I mean, they *did* get dragged to the hot-band and 
  38. they seemed to stay there. But when I opened Word it seemed there was 
  39. no means of getting these damned fonts in the dropdown font list.

  43. On a side note. Since the MS installer crashes Executor I couldn't 
  44. install Word, in a literal sense. I had to copy an installed Word 5.1 
  45. from my Mac IIsi via floppy disks. I did copy all the relevant files and 
  46. (sub)folders. At least I hope so. Is this the right way to do it?

  48. Furthermore, the Insert/Object menu item is dimmed in Word. It means the 
  49. menu item is unavailable. So, how to insert an Equation Editor object?

  51. I had copied the Equation Editor to the ExecutorVolume. When I double
  52. click on the Equation Editor program, however, it starts but it complains
  53. that the MT Extra font is missing. So, again, how to install this font?

  62. Try to have a look at recent postings in comp.emulators.mac.executor.
  63. There are at least a couple more messages relating to this topic. I don't 
  64. think it's a feature to be postponed at level N+1.

  76. what I'm able to see now...

  78. Don't feel offended by my statement. I mean, keep up the good work. Only, 
  79. I'm unable to regard Executor as a valid Mac environment now. There is no 
  80. doubt that your 68K emulator works well, at the processor level. What is 
  81. heavily lacking, IMHO, is a valid System (MacOS) substitute.

  90. Certainly not a bargain for our Department. Please take into account that 
  91. we have a campus license for MS products. This means we are buying 
  92. MS-Word and MS-Excel at a price equivalent to about US$30.
