- I have executor 1.99p6 installed on DOS and Linux drives on the same machine.
-
- Problem#1:
-
- I can read/write floppies fine under linux, but if I start the DOS version
- with a floppy in the A: drive I get the following error signature:
-
- eax=fffffb80 ebx=882c002c ecx=001ed504 edx=00236708 esi=008541f7 edi=00000000

- My hardware configuration is as follows:
-
- Gateway 2000 486/33 with:
- 16mb ram
- IDE and scsi drives (scsi drive /dev/sda1 is for linux)
- A: is 3.5 inch floppy
- B: is 5.25 inch floppy

- Problem#2:
-
- I cannot print files from MacDraw II. I can successfully print files
- from word 5.0 under linux using a "magic filter",lpr and ghostscript.
- My printer is an HP Laserjet 2P on LPT1. Is there a simple way to direct
- the executor printer output (under linux) to a file so we can examine the
- file? I would like to e-mail the file to you for your analysis.
-
- Problem#3:
-
- I tried to install Excel 4.0 and can get Excel to come up (under linux)
- but when I attempt to do a calculation is kills executor. I can enter text
- in cells ok, but no numerical assignments/calculations. I use the MicroSoft
- installation program. Is there an alternate installation procedure?
-
- Keep up the good work. I would like to use linux for >90% of my work and DOS
- or Windows for the other <10% and would need to be able to run the MicroSoft
- Office applications under linux to do this.
