  15. 1.99p6 uses an ioctl() to try to figure out whether or not a CD-ROM
  16. drive is playing music.  If the ioctl() say it is, then it won't
  17. access the drive further.  Unfortunately, not all of the CD-ROM
  18. drivers support that ioctl().
