  1. Hi,
  2.   I tried to run PhotoShop 3.0.4 on e199p5/linux.  I used the command
  3. line switches:

  5. -memory 32M -photo -system 7 
  6.  
  7. It gets to the splash screen, loads plug-ins, etc., ok.  Right after
  8. displaying the message "Getting memory size", it gives a dialog
  9. saying that photoshop cannot be initialized because a disk error
  10. occured.  I have checked the permissions in the System folder, and
  11. I have run both as myself and root.  The results are always the same.
  12. Has anyone gotten past this point with PhotoShop?
