  10. It is an unfortunate side-effect of directly mapping the frame-buffer.
  11. The Mac uses 0 for white and 1 for black and the PC uses the opposite,
  12. so when we let programs go directly to the screen for speed, some
  13. video boards use the color table entry for what they think is black as
  14. the "overscan color".  This probably won't be fixed by the time 2.0
  15. ships since it is video driver specific and right now we don't have
  16. the resources to take on video driver specific problems.
