  9. Does this delay happen when you have a DOS CD-ROM in your drive?
  10. Audio-CD?  Mac CD-ROM?

  12. 1.99p5 fixed (among other things) two bugs, neither of which are what
  13. you're experiencing:

  15.         Some DOS systems were experiencing very large delays
  16.         when opening DOS drives under E/D
  17.  
  18.         Linux systems with audio CDs playing would have the
  19.         audio interrupted when Executor started up
  20.  
  21. CD-ROM trouble under DOS is not yet fixed.  We're looking into this,
  22. but for now you can tell Executor to skip your CD-ROM with the
  23. "-skipdrives" option.

  27. will tell Executor to not try to use drive d in any way.  I know it's
  28. tedious to have to do that, but for now that's all we can provide.
