-
- Does this delay happen when you have a DOS CD-ROM in your drive?
- Audio-CD? Mac CD-ROM?
-
- 1.99p5 fixed (among other things) two bugs, neither of which are what
- you're experiencing:
-
- Some DOS systems were experiencing very large delays
- when opening DOS drives under E/D
-
- Linux systems with audio CDs playing would have the
- audio interrupted when Executor started up
-
- CD-ROM trouble under DOS is not yet fixed. We're looking into this,
- but for now you can tell Executor to skip your CD-ROM with the
- "-skipdrives" option.
-
- executor -skipdrives d
-
- will tell Executor to not try to use drive d in any way. I know it's
- tedious to have to do that, but for now that's all we can provide.

- Even if skipdrives helps you out, please answer my questions from the
- beginning of this letter. We do want to fix this problem.
