- I tried HyperCard 2.2 on a number of machines running Executor 1.99p4:
- - 486/33, 8 MB RAM, DOS: unbearably slow, no chance to work like that
- - Pentium 90, 16 MB RAM, DOS: pretty fast, no complaints
- - 486DX2/66, 12 MB RAM, Linux 1.2.13: to my surprise, at least (!) as
- fast as Pentium/DOS
- I never touched the Flush Cache option though. I recommend to try running it
- under Linux (if possible) on the same or a better machine.
