  1. I seem to remember discussion on the list a while back about a
  2. command-line option in newer E/L 1.99 releases that will skip the
  3. /dev/cdrom probe at startup; since probing while an audio CD is
  4. playing can cause problems, such a flag would be helpful for me.

  6. Could someone repost this information?  It doesn't seem to be covered
  7. in the FAQ.
