- First off, more about the mailing list, it seems that every time I post a
- message to the group, bounced messages from various subscribers come back to
- me, sometimes entire digests...which I really don't need...
-
- Secondly, ever since I've got Executor (back around k or l), I start from Dos
- 6.2...and generally, I forget to install the mouse driver, and it comes back
- with an error, and then I type mouse, it installs the driver, then I reload
- Exec., but the mouse is frozen. I then exit, and reload the mouse driver (it
- says "existing mouse driver enabled) and then works fine with exec. I've also
- tried loading the driver twice before starting exec, but no go...no biggie,
- but just annoying...
-
- Thirdly, the more serious of problems (so I think)...I was playing around with
- different programs, and decided to load up one that'd worked with previous
- versions, a game called Iraq Attack. Well, it ran *very* slowly, like 1 frame
- per 3-4 seconds, it wasn't a refresh problem. I had to ctrl-break out of it,
- then I restarted and loaded up Tex-Edit (an earlier version, because the
- version that came with it crashes every time I load it). Before I played
- around with Iraq Attack, I had installed several fonts by dragging tthem to
- the font toolbox icon. When I loaded Tex-Edit, a message saying "Error: Could
- not save current Browser state." or something similar. I clikc ok, and then
- see no fonts that I'd ever installed...I exit, and the desktop is blank, all
- toolbox icons empty when opened...I think, oh well, and go try to see if
- Hypercard works..I load it up, get the same browser error, then it crashes...
- I load up yet again, play around, and then quit executor, and guess what it's
- final words were? Browser error, couldn't save once more...
- any ideas here?
