  7. Right now there's nothing you can do.  It's a tough problem for us.
  8. The Mac has ways of querying what versions of various managers are
  9. present.  In general we try to say that we have as low of a version as
  10. possible, especially when we're only spoofing something anyway.  Some
  11. programs will then query and decide not to use fancy calls, but
  12. apparently Doom II will just quit if it doesn't think Sound Manager 3
  13. is there.

  15. Internally we've discussed ways to fine-tune our spoofing.  I guess
  16. it's one more thing to mull over during Hackathon II.
