- Some of the code for multi-selection is already in place. We hope to
- clean up the Browser code and make it publicly available when 2.0
- ships. That should allow people to make other useful mods to the code
- although we'll probably need people to sign a release before we'll be
- able to incorporate other people's changes into our Browser.

- What I do is make a directory in the top level of the volume that I'll
- be deleting things from, then open that directory and put it down at
- the bottom of my screen and drag stuff into it. I can either leave it
- there for later or delete it if I need to reclaim the disk space.
- Sort of a "poor man's" trash can.

-
- The program "makehfv" could conceivably be used to turn a disk
- partition under Linux into an HFV file by itself. If you are
- comfortable with writing directly to a disk partition (if you write to
- the wrong one, you will blow away your system), you can do it in the
- obvious Linux way, then adjust MacVolumes accordingly. However, I
- don't know how to tell Executor to find a raw partition under OS/2, so
- I'm not sure that this info helps much. We probably won't do anything
- about this sort of thing until after 2.0 is out. Not enough universal
- appeal.
