- I don't follow the PowerBook line well enough to be sure, but I think
- all the current ones can do what you want. Executor/DOS is quite
- happy reading and writing SCSI disks as long as you have an ASPI
- compatible driver for the card. We have a 1 gig SCSI disk that we
- have a bunch of programs on that we run under Executor all the time.
- Periodically I run Norton Utilities on it to make sure everything is
- OK (NU 1 runs under Executor, NU 2 and beyond don't yet). It's not
- uncommon for there to be some blocks that are marked as in use that
- are really free, but that happens on our Quadra 610, as well.

- Of course you should only do this if your PowerBook is meant to be
- able to be run in a mode where its hard drive is a SCSI drive that can
- be used by other machines.
