  1. Sorry to constantly be pestering you guys about future progress and what 
  2. will and what won't be implemented (I guess I'm just excited about the 
  3. progress that I've seen in the past few months!)...

  5. I was wondering if a couple things might be possible in future (post 2.0) 
  6. versions of Executor...
  7.  
  8. First off, the ALPHA-DEC Linux machine appears to be able to run 
  9. everything except X-Windows right now...  X should come real soon now 
  10. from what I hear...  Once ARDI finds its way out of debt, do you think 
  11. you'll find a way to compile a LInux-ALPHA version?  I'd love to see what 
  12. kind of magic executor could do with 266Mhz!!!

  14. Secondly, with Apple switching thier marketing towards the PowerPC 
  15. (PowerMac), more and more apps are being shipped with PPC versions.  Will 
  16. future (post 2.0) versions be able to run these?  Do you expect better 
  17. speed, or worse speed on these emulations?

  19. Thidly-- and I know this probably is a bit dreamy-- What is the 
  20. possibility of being able to run Macintosh Apps w/o the entire 
  21. "Macintosh" window?  In other words, just run a single application on the 
  22. X-windows screen without all the "browser" stuff?  It would be nice (but 
  23. certainly not very necessary) to have the Mac Apps run better integrated 
  24. with existing X-windows applications...  (ala WINE, where you can have 
  25. the -desktop option, or just have it run in its own window)

  27. As a final note, I got a crash under executor when I tried to run a demo 
  28. version of DesignWorkshop...  The error is as follows:
