  6. It should be out within a few weeks (after we release Executor/NSFIP),
  7. and definitely before 2.0 ships.  Executor's pretty darn fast under
  8. SVGAlib with hardware accelerated rect fills and stuff, although
  9. SVGAlib doesn't fully support many boards.  With unsupported boards
  10. SVGAlib forces you to use old-style VGA 640x480 16 colors, which is a
  11. fairly slow mode under Executor.

  13. The other problem is that many Linux mouse drivers don't support
  14. FASYNC, which we need for smooth mouse operation.  Apparently the
  15. serial mouse driver has had this support for a long time, and it was
  16. recently added to other mouse drivers.
