  14.     Zip is the standard of personal computer....
  15.     You can compress/decompress *.zip in MSDOS, Amiga, Mac, Unix, 
  16. Apple ][, VAX, .....
  17.     Moreover, it is more easy to handle zip file than Gzip as zip can
  18. handle a group of files with full/partial path(directory) and delete or 
  19. add a single file to the archive is more easier.
  20.     I prefer zip .....

  23. lha as it is free and powerful....
