- Here is a set of observations.
- 1. I ran Executor/Dos after I exited windows. (DX2-66, 8M RAM). I invoked NIH
- image. All is well. I had pictures on my A-drive disk. Tried to aquire
- from A by finder and the light goes on but no A drive on Hot Band. Did a
- listing of the NIH-IMAGE in folder with all the different folders and they
- all had a size of 0 except the text file that accompanied them. (NIH image as
- an application works, so far fine. I could not access the A drive. Started
- to search all the drives, reached the Z: drive (part of a network) and E/D
- locked up.
-
- 2. Made a batch file to start DOS with no drivers at all except graphics and
- mouse.
- E/D lost my registration information (???). Text-Edit worked well. Went back
- to NIH IMAGE. Loaded well, again, an inability to access drive A:. Checked
- contents of all drives and unlike the 1st case, when I reached the last drive
- (which was not a network drive), I circled to the first drive. No lockup.
-
- Finder still reporting 0 bytes for all the IMAGE files except the text file.
-
-
- Questions:
- DId I lose registration information (under 1) when I had to reboot?
- How does one access an A: drive? (If it is the FAQ or the Exec/D
- manual, please point me to the proper page. I searched but my eyes are going
- -where?).
-
- I forgot to add that I am using Executor 1.99o/Dos.
