  12. I think this is partly a good idea, but people should *not* post
  13. binaries to the apps group.  Far better to post URLs of ftp sites
  14. where the program can be found.  Many people pay for their news
  15. access, and can't afford to have people posting binaries to
  16. non-binaries newsgroups.  Newsgroups for posting binaries really
  17. should have 'binaries' in the name.
