- In general, doing things with the browser is preferred to using
- HFS_XFer. However, if you've reinstalled HFS_XFer (by dragging it
- into the hot-band and then running any program), and can point to
- specific combinations of programs and HFS_XFer usage that fails, we'll
- try to fix it. However, we need bug descriptions that say *exactly*
- what you did when it died. Even if you can't reproduce those crashes,
- if you can at least tell us what you did when it failed once, that's a
- start -- a traceback is a help, too.

-
- Try using Stuffit Extractor -- I think it will work no matter what.
- If you want to continue using BinHex, however, fiddle with the
- "Newline Mapping" option in the preference panel (Cmd-Shift-5). Linux
- and DOS handle newlines slightly differently, so E/D has different
- prefs for each.

-
- Toss it into /usr/local/lib/executor and if it's readable and
- writable, it should "just work".

- Great to hear. Add that to the unofficial ARDI web pages if you have
- WWW access (we don't). The URL is http://vorlon.mit.edu/pub/arditop.html.
