  1.     There's been a lot of debate lately about having a user-upload HFV 
  2. site. Cliff, would it be possible for you guys to have a "submit" 
  3. directory, where folks could dump software. That way, you all would 
  4. have time to verify copyright info, check that the programs work 
  5. (minimally, anyway) and then swap them over to a user pickup _at your 
  6. leisure_ (ha! Sorry, bad joke in your case). You could build one new 
  7. .HFV of demos each month containing _only_ new stuff, and have one 
  8. large one containing the sum of all the smaller ones for first-time 
  9. downloaders and hard drive crash victims.
  10.     We'z all out here to help you guys sell a better product. Keep telling 
  11. us why you can't do it, and eventually we'll come up with a plan that 
  12. can do it. Pardon me for sounding like a 50s movie extra. So, tell me 
  13. specifically what's wrong with the above idea, and I'll get back to you.
