  12. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  13. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  14. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  16. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  17. is type
  18. sox quack quack.au
  19. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  20. sox quack quack.wav
  21. makes a .wav file.

  23. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  24. to do the same thing...
