  2. Hi!

  4. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  5. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  6. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  7. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  8. remains black.

  10. My system configuration:

  12. Quantex 486/66
  13. 16MB RAM
  14. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  15. Windows 95

  17. I have tried the following:

  19. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  20.  
  21. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  22.  
  23. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  24.  
  25. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  26.  
  27. * Run univbe51
  28.  
  29. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  30.  
  31. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  32.  
  33.  
  34. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  35. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.

  37. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
