- I'm not totally convinced that it is an E/L problem. I am running XF86 3.1.1
- and Linux 1.2.8 and I've experienced other instances of programs leaking
- memory. For instance, Netscape 1.1N gobbles up all my memory and freezes
- sometimes when I save a large document as TEXT, it finishes saving and then
- just keeps eating up memory. I've also had similar problems with Mosaic but
- not just with saving. It seems a bit odd to me that this happens with
- these other large production programs. It would tend to make me believe it
- is something with XF86 possibly, or it could be Linux 1.2.8 for me and
- 1.2.10 for you all. But in any case, I've had no real problems yet with
- 1.2.8 and E/L 1.99n, so if you need to switch kernels, try that one.
